As a Korean drama fan, sometimes I need an OST from favorite K-series to be my ringtone on iPhone. I did searched for an OST song from YouTube and surprisingly found many customized ringtones already on YouTube.

Then I used KeepVid (a free downloader)to download only the music with MP3 format to my computer.

Now open the GarageBand and create new Empty Project.

Choose Audio record.

Right click on the track and then select ‘Add Audio File’ to choose your mp3 song (if you can’t import mp3, you might need to resampling your file, see http://www.bigasoft.com/articles/mp3-to-garageband.html).

You can adjust the length of your ringtone as desired. After that, you can Share this Project to GarageBand for iOS.

Now, your file should be shared on your iCloud Drive which you can access on your iPhone. Open GarageBand on your iPhone, you will see your file on GarageBand browser (see https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208899 for more info).

Click on select and choose the music file. Then, you can click on the share icon on the left bottom of the screen.

Finally, you can export this song to be a ringtone for your iPhone. Enjoy 😄
